There's still some rain up to this minute so I thought it would not be a good thing for me to bring my camera outside. It is impossible to get great pictures anyway. But it would be a shame just sitting inside our house, so I went out and gave it a try. Luckily here are my outputs:

Got this from a fortune cookie after having my last lunchout with friends in downtown St.Paul. We are to go back to Manila the next day. Feeling optimistic, I kept the small strip of paper on my wallet after writing that day's date.
Fast forward -- December 12, 2008.
I thought I would be hired for a new job on this date. But with the crisis that's going on worldwide, I didn't pursue that much on landing on a place with a bigger paycheck. Abang-abang na lang muna.
I thought I would that million-peso pot on a lottery. But then again I'm not a fan of gambling, probably because I am not as lucky as the others when it comes to betting.
And then there's my wild dream. I thought that would be it. Don't ask, I'm keeping it for myself, it didn't happen anyway. :P
So what's with this fortune cookie? None of the things that I am expecting became true! I never believed this much on something like this (I don't have a single strain of China in my blood), just today. Dapat pala hindi ko na lang pinansin.
But just when I was writing this, I realized na mas masuwerte pa pala ako kesa sa iniisip ko. Even without those wishes coming true. A lot of good things happened to me this year. And as far as I can remember, mas madami akong iniisip on this same month last year kesa ngayon. I also realized na kelangan mo lang talagang mag-isip, weigh and be thankful sa mga blessings that we usually ignore lalo na kung madalas nating matanggap.
I just need to be more optimistic. Hindi naman sinabi na sa mismong date ko malalaman na nagkatotoo wishes ko e, di ba. Just as what Rico said: you can thank your stars all you want, but i'll always be the lucky one. Go, idol!
We should always feel and belive that we are lucky, whatever happens. Yan naman ang sabi ko.
